Wow, February has been HECTIC. I haven't had any time to blog about it. Now I shall start with what I remember.
School started on the 31st of Jan, so that is really close to Feb, which means I can talk about it. Melbourne High is soooo much busier than Balwyn (and one of the co-ords is worse than Ms Tweedie *eyes fall out of head in surprise*, but I will talk about that later), but the best thing is we have so much LESS homework, we only get 3 assessment tasks a SEMESTER!!! WOOT!!
So far we've had a maths test on Surds *falls asleep*, a French test on the most basic of all basic French *snores*, a crappy science assignment, where we have to grow PLANTS, and a history assignment, which isn't too bad. My history teacher has SUCCEEDED in MAKING AUSTRALIAN HISTORY ACTUALLY INTERESTING!!! AND SHE'S NICE!!! AND RATHER GOOD LOOKING!!! WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT IN A HISTORY TEACHER AFTER HAVING DE PETRO AND MENKE!!!
Later in the month, I auditioned for the pit orchestra for South Pacific, which the music is good, but hard in spots. AND THERE ARE BASSOON SOLOS!! WHICH I GET TO PLAY!!! BECAUSE THE OTHER GUY IS PLAYING THE CELLO PART!!! :D AND I THINK I'M LIKE THE ONLY YEAR 9!! AND I'M ALSO THE ONLY YEAR 9 IN SENIOR STAGE!!! :D AND WE'RE PLAYING WILLIAM TELL IN ORCHESTRA!!! Wait that last one isn't good, William Tell sucks (and tries to shoot an apple off someone's head (I mean how stupid can you be!) WAIT!! IT WAS ALL ROSSINI'S FAULT!!! KILL ROSSINI!!! Wait!!! He's DEAD!!! WELL KILL HIM SOME MORE!!!
Anyway even later in the month, I caught up with Matthew and Harry, which was good. We talked and ate and bagged people and listened to music and watched Harry play his first composition ever (or one of his first), it was really funny.
After that on the 23rd of Feb, it was my brother's birthday! He had his usual Futsal game, then he went for a swim. I saw Simone Santos *starts vomiting* and some other bogans there. Then we came back to my house, where 12 screaming under 10s went crazy and ate high-calorie food for an hour and went really crazy.
Now getting more recent, a few days ago, two screws fell out of my bassoon, and I COULDN'T FIND THEM!!! My bassoon teacher is going to kill me.
Now to today, over the Tuesday this week and Thursday this week, we have had Athletics, I was in a massive NOTHING!!! AND MY HOUSE CAME LAST BY ABOUT 100 POINTS!!! YAY!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!
And finally today, the stupid evil sadistic coordinator (there are two and the other one is reasonably nice) made me shave or otherwise I would be suspended. Doesn't that seem just a bit over the top? Maybe a detention if I didn't shave it by tomorrow but a SUSPENSION!! How retarded! STUPID MR KEYTE!!!
Anyway this wouldn't be a post if it didn't have anything about Dvorak!!
YAY!!! DVORAK!!!! DVORAK IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE AT COMPOSING!!!!! HE MAKES MOZART LOOK LIKE A COMPOSING NOOB!!!

Shave or suspension? How stupid is that? We can't lose our EVIL DOCTOR HAIRY GORILLA COW STUART THING!!! I could understand that if your beard was down to your waist but it's NOTHING. It's just a bit of hair. It's not like you're in the army or anything. And Stuart isn't Stuart without his beard. He's just a lump of cells with a bassoon attatched.

I AGREE WITH TULLIO. SHOSTAKOVICH IS BETTER THAN DVORAK, AND NOT EVEN DVORAK'S 7TH, 8TH AND 9TH SYMPHONIES ARE GOOD! THEY'RE ALL JUST FOLK MUSIC ARRANGED FOR ORCHESTRA! BUT MAHLER IS GOOD TOO!
