Anyway, Jackson your feeble attempt to attack Dvorák, (which by the way was deleted by me), was baseless and had absolutely no evidence what so ever.
Lets dissect it statement by statement.
Dvorák is crap.
Umm. This sentence is crap. And has no evidence.
His melodies are incredibly simple and annoying.
This statement is based 1 or 2 melodies. Not a very good sample size for a composer who lived for 70 years.

I'm going to use a pentatonic scale to make a famous cor anglais solo, which will be crap like nearly every other famous melody ever written!
Most famous melodies are famous for being incredibly emotionally powerful or very catchy. That melody even though it was simple was a BRILLIANT melody. A melody is not great because it is complex. In fact incredibly complex melodies are totally forgettable. How come Pachebel's Canon is so popular, it was very simple. Anyway there is nothing wrong with the pentatonic scale. In fact, have you ever tried I Iaug ii V I. Answer: NO!!!!! That was more original than most of your chord progressions. In fact most of them are Mahler rip-offs. You could never be as good as Mahler or Dvorák.
But i'll make it Db pentatonic so that it's original!
I'm not sure why that part was in Db but it most certainly was NOT to be original.

If you haven't realised composers have their own unique style of writing music. Die Schlittenfahrt was almost certainly Mozart. Mozart has never put his name to anything else he didn't write, so why would he for something that you say is appalling.
It's just scales and arpeggios! HOW ORIGINAL!
Originality is subjective. What may have been original then, may not be original now.

The AMEB technical book is in a category exempt from originality. It is a comprehensive list of what technical work should be achieved by a certain grade. And Dvorák came only a few HUNDRED years before the AMEB!!!

btw i recommend sibelius' 6th and 7th symphonies. thy're quite good really. and prokofiev's symphony-concerto for cello and orchestra.
